About TESMOND

I am a passionate NUS undergraduate teaching Chinese to students from Primary 3 and above. My lessons go beyond the textbook, using idioms, stories, poems and culture to build real understanding. One of my students improved from just passing to an upper band result in the final exam. I believe Chinese is a valuable skill that will open doors for your child’s future.

About the lesson

I offer online and offline Chinese lessons for students from Primary 3 and above. Each lesson is tailored to your child’s level and needs, and covers:

Vocabulary and Chinese character recognition
Reading comprehension
Composition writing (作文)
Oral and listening practice
Exam techniques and practice papers

Lessons are interactive and engaging, so students stay focused and build real confidence in the language. Regular feedback is given to parents so you can follow your child’s progress.

About me

I am currently an undergraduate at the National University of Singapore (NUS) with a strong passion for teaching. I enjoy helping students overcome their fear of Chinese and discover that the language can be fun and rewarding.

One of my students was only scraping a pass in regular school tests. With consistent guidance and practice, they improved steadily and achieved an upper band result in the final examination.

I believe every student can improve with patience, clear explanations and the right support. I look forward to helping your child reach their full potential in Chinese!
