My approach is led by the student I am teaching. I will ask the student to request a topic before the session. At the beginning of the lesson I will ask the student some questions to try and identify where they are struggling in the topic. Once we identify the area of weakness, I can explain the misconceptions and reteach certain things. If the student wishes, after this we can figure out how to approach practice questions. My lessons are aimed for anyone struggling in A-level chemistry :)
