About Amy
I am a caring and understanding tutor who believes everyone has it within themselves to excel in an academic environment. I will work alongside students, meeting them where they are 'at' now and inspiring greater love for their subject. I will cement the most significant points that should lend themselves to a comprehensive understanding of the operation of the subject, whether Psychology or Geography.
I don't think any student is destined to achieve a grade they are unhappy with. I will never raise my voice and should feel more like a nerd friend who can work with you to iron out any misunderstandings. At the end of the day, it is just some informations and with some exams it's just about jumping through hoops!

- Start by recognising which topics the student finds challenging and try to break them down so they make more sense
- I provide 1 hour lessons
- I have achieved A's in all of my A Levels, I had plenty of tutors growing up so remember which techniques worked well for me. I used to help my classmates with parts of the work they found difficult, and helped them phrase information for the format of an essay.
I am looking to teach A Level or GCSE Psychology as well as up to first year A Level Geography.
