• What motivates you to teach & why?

  Being helpful was my moto and soon I realised that a major problem in India was people being illiterate/not enough skills and the best way to start making a change and help India in any way was to start small......so I started teaching in a play-way school. I enjoy teaching, and more than anything else the people willing to learn motivate me because learning is an ever-lasting process.

• When did you start developing an interest in your subject area?

  I was a keen reader and all thanks to my mom for that; but i truly started enjoying English in grade 7-8 because i used to love interpreting poetry and knowing about the language and how you can play around with the words.

• If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?

  That would have to all of my teachers, especially, my favourite teacher, Ms. Ravneet Gill. She has been a person in my life who has not only been there for me as a teacher but also as a guardian angel. I try to develop a student-teacher relationship like hers, with my students , because a teacher is a guiding light and should do more than just teaching the syllabus.

• What is the biggest obstacle you had to overcome in mastering your craft?

  Using proper grammar.

• In your opinion, what makes someone excel in your subject area?

  Your passion and dedication, an approach of seeking constant improvement in oneself, Practice (speak what you shall write).

• What would you say to a student who says, "This is too difficult, I give up!"?

  Okay, well it could be difficult right now but it's not impossible for you to do it because i know you are capable of doing this so let's try it again together. I believe in you. ( would try to understand the problem and maybe approach it with a different method then)

• How does someone become a Super Prof?
