About Katelyn

My name is Katelyn Lanese, and I am currently a Finance major enrolled in Arizona State University. I am also apart of Barrett, the Honors College. Throughout my high school as well as college years, I participated in many differing honors courses. I have much experience with the SAT as well as many Advanced Placement tests. In addition, I have been a tutor for more than 6 years and have experience with kids in early elementary through late high school years.

About the lesson

I am extremely hands-on when it comes to learning, as I believe in order to fully grasp certain topics, it is important to actually try doing it as opposed to me simply showing the student. I am also very easygoing and firsthand understand how learning concepts can be extremely frustrating at times. Our lesson plans will consist of however much direction you need to learn certain topics, and then you practicing sample questions until you feel comfortable to move on to the next topic. Lessons are for anyone high school level or lower, and mathematics is my specialty, but I am completely willing to help in other subjects!
