About Akhil
My motivation to teach comes from my desire to assist students in fulfilling their potential. Many students have the ability to achieve top grades, but are unsure and unaware of the steps they have to take to do so. Therefore, I would like to help my students excel academically by communicating the optimum revision and studying strategies which I can guarantee will lead to success.

I like to ensure students cover and gain a strong understanding in all topics. My sessions begin with going through the key formulae for a certain topic. I will then cover some practice questions alongside the student to teach them how to approach topic questions. Once the student gains a better understanding, I will allow them to attempt questions themselves, followed by providing a worked solution after a sufficient time periods.
The typical length is 1-1.5hours but I can do shorter/longer lessons. I have experience tutoring GCSE and A-Level students as a Maths Mentor in Wallington County Grammar School and PowerTutors. My qualifications involve 4A*s at A-Level (including Maths and Further Maths), 11 A*s at GCSE and I have a valid DBS check. My lessons are for all age groups until and including A-Level and for students of all abilities.
