About Nyasia
I myself had a tutor when I was younger, and something that always amazed me is that there were so many things that I missed in school or that weren’t taught to me in school. Like for example, independent and dependent clauses, and root word phonics. When I started to understand what exactly I was looking at, I had such a grasp of wanting to learn so much more that I fell in love with reading. and I just hope I can do that for you.

The lesson can be 30 minutes or an hour. I first pull an age-appropriate text to work on reading, and we use grammar tools to learn how the text is shaped and the purpose behind it. After, if the child has any homework from school, we work until the homework is completed. Then I send home some practice sheets to work on for the week and then we meet again!
