I am currently in my 3rd year of a 4 year Masters degree in Chemistry at Warwick University. At A level I studied Chemistry, Maths, and Biology.
I have been tutoring up to A level Maths and Chemistry for 6 months now and have 4 years experience tutoring 11+ students.
My experience with tutoring in the past has been positive and well received, I love being able to help a student make breakthroughs in their learning and realize that science, while difficult, is logical and that you can do it!
My tutorials will cover what in my opinion is the 3 essentials parts of mastering science at exam level:
- Content - I will go through the content that you are required to know at a pace which I will adapt to ensure it is suitable for each student's needs
- Application - how can you apply what you’ve learned to be able to answer exam questions? what are the parts of the course that you might be required to link together? what are you more confident with and in aspects do you require a bit more support?
- Finally, EXAM questions and mark schemes - how do we push your answers to the next level in that we know that we are ticking the boxes of what the examiners want. I will give you a mark scheme for each exam question we do and we’ll go through it when we review the question so we know exactly what you did well and what you can improve on.
