About Dev
I am a young hardworking and driven individual, I am currently studying dentistry however I was once in your position in secondary school taking GCSE exams. I understand the struggles and want to help other students avoid the common mistakes and misconceptions I made/had. I have achieved A*s in all the subjects I plan to teach at the GCSEs level and A's In A-levels. I provide clear outlines and agendas for my lessons and ensure that all materials and resources are well-organized. I encourage open and honest communication with my students and listen actively to their concerns. I have only recently undergone the same tests I feel I have a deeper understanding of the struggle of my students. As a tutor, my approach is centred around helping my students understand and retain the material in a way that is tailored to their individual needs and learning style. To do this, I use a variety of techniques and methods in my lessons, including lectures, guides, problem-solving exercises, and tests.
In each lesson, I aim to provide a structured and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions.
My lessons typically last for 45-60 minutes, although I am flexible and can adjust the length of the lesson based on the needs of my students.
I have gained valuable experience as a tutor through working with my younger sister and have developed strong teaching and communication skills as a result. I am confident in my ability to help my students succeed and I am committed to providing top-quality instruction. I offer tutoring services to anyone in years 7-11.
I can also help, check, teach, and coach students on personal statements and interviews for dentistry. Whether you are struggling with a particular subject or just want to improve your overall performance, I am here to help you achieve your goals.
