About Charlotte
Hi, I’m Charlotte! I’m a university student with a real passion for English and helping others feel confident in it. I achieved an 8 in GCSE English and continued the subject at A-Level, which really deepened my love for literature and language. Alongside tutoring, I’ve worked in childcare for seven years, giving me lots of experience supporting young people and understanding how they learn best. I tutor because I genuinely love seeing students go from feeling unsure to proud of their progress, it’s the best feeling. I like to create a relaxed, friendly atmosphere where students feel comfortable asking questions and actually enjoy learning because that’s when they do their best work! While I always make sure sessions stay productive, structured, and focused on progress.

I’m a university student with over three years of experience tutoring GCSE English Literature and Language. My 50-minute Zoom lessons are interactive, engaging, and fully personalised to what each student specifically needs help with. I use a cognitive teaching approach with a strong focus on understanding, recall, and exam practice. Alongside this, I create revision resources with my students that they can use independently, and provide a homework document with detailed feedback after each task. I also keep a shared record of every session so students can track their progress. Each session costs £20, and I always plan carefully between lessons to make sure every student gets the support they deserve.
