About Lillian
I am not only a science major who works in a lab I’m a dancer life is all about balance I am fully aware that STEM isn’t a career path for everyone however knowledge is power and education is something that no one can take away from you. I have experience facilitating small research projects with both middle school and high schoolers. I also have experience helping students understand fundamental math skills such as functions two-step equations etc… Fundamental skills needed for further math advancement.

I know what it’s like to struggle it took me years to be confident in my math skills. I am able to take what I’ve learned to be able to help others. I find that a lot of people are scared of math and science and it doesn’t have to be that way. A typical lesson includes a few minutes of ice breakers so I get to know the student more. I will then offer a quick warm up or review. Afterwards I will continue on to the lesson rather that be me teaching a topic or if the student has material they want to go through. I am flexible with how a session goes I am there for the student and to support them in any way they need.
