About Olivia
I want to be a tutor that can make the subject of English easier for you!
I am incredibly passionate about English, studying Creative Writing at the University of Wollongong, however, I have not always had this love for the subject.
Growing up I had a lot of difficulty in school, I often found the traditional way of teaching didn't suit my way of learning. By teaching myself through different methods and ways of thinking I managed to graduate high school a year earlier with an ATAR of 86 and am now earning consistently high marks in my degree.
I want to help any kids who might have been like me and share some methods and techniques I learned to make life easier, whether you're in kindergarten or doing your HSC.

I like to approach all lessons by trying to insert my student's interests into my teachings as much as possible. English is all around us, so it is very easy to find examples of different lesson ideas while entertaining the student. For example, if we are learning about verbs I can easily put on a scene from their favourite movie and have them point out what all the verbs are.
I graduated from high school a year early with an ATAR of 86 and am currently studying Creative Writing at the University of Wollongong with consistently high marks.
My lesson lengths are entirely dependent on the student and what you and your child feel they need. I have taught lessons from 30 minutes in length to 2 hours.
My lessons are for anyone between the ages of 6 and 15 with the ability to take on older if felt necessary.
