About Jake

Psychology was my passion at A-level and I always loved helping my classmates with catch-up lessons if they'd missed a day, or with revision sessions for stuff they didn't understand. I used to run a weekly study group for the students that were struggling and would often go and teach psychology lessons for the year below when they were doing the topics I was particularly good at. I love teaching, and am super easy-going and will always make sure it's a relaxed and stress-free teaching environment!

About the lesson

I've been teaching courses in the community since I was 15 so have lots of experience of teaching to help me find ways to help you! Psychology was always my favourite subject at A-level and I love helping others grasp it! Whether you want some help with exam technique, just a little top up of knowledge, or are panicking out of your mind because you just can't quite understand state-dependent retrieval - I'm here to help! We can find ways that work best for you to structure our sessions and get you the grades and understanding that you deserve. I have resources specifically tailored to AQA but with enough notice I'm happy to prepare them for other exam board topics too. Psychology is a super interesting and helpful subject, and I use a lot of it in my current studies as a medical student!
