Hey there! I am an undergraduate student currently studying Public Affairs and Policy Management with several years of experience in essay and assignment writing. Coming from someone who was once in your shoes, writing essays and assignments can be quite a difficult task, especially when it's something that is fairly new to you. My teaching style is interactive and encourages active participation from students. This involves revision exercises, engaging Q&A, and peer review sessions to ensure a dynamic learning environment. In regards to my typical lesson, we will first begin with the basics of essay structure and learn the importance of creating well-developed thesis statements for essays and research papers/assignments. Secondly, we will tailor each essay or paper to the specific genre that the student is working on, whether that be argumentative, persuasive, etc. We will also incorporate various readings and workshops to help broaden the student's knowledge of genres and styles of writing and allow them to understand how to provide and implement effective feedback. At the end of lesson plans, I will ensure there is time left to revise and reflect on the material that was written.These lessons are curated for students in middle school to high school who wish to improve their essay or assignment writing skills.
