About Ashley

I have experience helping friends with essays and was part of a peer tutor program in high school. My role as a peer tutor entailed assisting students with questions about assignments and encouraging conversations amongst each other. Writing is something I am extremely passionate about and I hope to pass on the love of writing, or at least good writing skills, to others.

About the lesson

Essay writing is often hard, especially when you are in your first year of university. As a third year undergrad student in an essay heavy program, I have become familiar with structuring and proving good arguments and parsing through dense academic literature. I have also acquired professional writing experience as a writer for the media platform Her Campus. I provide assistance with structuring essays, encouraging critical thinking, understanding scholarly texts, proofreading and editing.
