I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas Southern University and have a 4.0 GPA as a Master's student at Colorado College. I am committed to self-actualization and helping my students realize their fullest potential. I want to impact communities and recognize my position as a global citizen. As a culturally relevant and sustaining pedagogy student, I strive to create the context most conducive to my students engaging with and understanding the material. I typically have constructivist teaching methods in the classroom, allowing students to build on their ideas and classmates. In the more intimate tutoring sessions, we will have the flexibility to go more in-depth on all topics, granting better retention, understanding, and comprehension. I am internally motivated and committed to improving my students and the learning environment. I will work thoroughly by any means. I am a secondary history and civics instructor with experience teaching middle school. Private lessons are catered to the student(s), so all age groups will be accommodated.
