About Emelia
Because I am studying teaching at University, I enjoy teaching and seeing the light bulb moment go off when people understand and are excited to learn.
I also loved mathematics all through out my own schooling journey, and think it can be such a fun subject if taught well!
I am also a swimming instructor, so I have lots of experience teaching different things and changing my teaching styles and approaches to best suit the student :)

I have a passion for mathematics and excelled in mathematics and statistics all through out NCEA 1, 2 & 3.
I like hands on work, or visual aids, I have experience teaching year 7/8 (10,11,12,13 yr olds) and year3 (7,8 yrs old) through my professional placements. But am able to teach between and the junior years of highschool.
