About Zelin
As a current student in Biological Science, I had a 7 (top rank) on the Chinese HL exam in the IBDP curriculum. I lived in Beijing for 18 years (I know the language very well) and I have previous experience in teaching language, elevating student's TOEFL scores from 76 to 104.

I am planning to do a series of lectures that start off with basic concepts on the language, including the history of the language and the culture. This can be done in an hour.
Then, we will look at pronunciations and grammar rules. In this stage, we will also cover basic Chinese vocabularies that are necessary for local Chinese to understand. This can be done in 3 lessons with an hour duration in English.
After that, we will read articles on the Chinese website together and discuss them, offering you practice on reading and speaking. This will start with basic and simple articles and goes deeper as your language ability increase. Duration is up to you.
