About Kelvin
Hello, most likely, if you are reading this section, you or someone you know have decided to reach out for additional help academically. I get that. Everyone has their own strengths and weaknesses and it's unfair to expect every student to excel at every area in life. However, it is my one wish that you don't misunderstand my position here. Please don't think of me as one of your teachers in school, but rather the fellow student that I am, one that you can reach out to for help and with questions, without the authoritative role. After all, I'm just like you guys. I'm in school (University of Houston Right now), I play and watch sports (Tennis is always a favorite), I hang out with friends (I like to go bowling and talk), and I get nervous for certain tests and classes (Right now accounting is the WORST) just like all you.

A typical lesson with me vary from student to student. I try to focus in on specifics, rather than a broad topic. After all, there's no reason to teach a fish to swim. Generally, I pinpoint areas of struggle, explain the general concepts with provided examples, before setting them free to attempt items on their own, providing guidance along the way until success. This specialty approach I believe sets me apart as a tutor, able to help anyone from the Kindergarten all the way up to the ends of high school.
