I start out teaching a student by assessing their weak points in the subject, and then I construct a plan based on that, taking into account the student's end goal. My lessons consist of 1-on-1 tutoring where I go through the motions with the students to understand their thought processes, as well as independent work that will be assigned based on the student's proficiency and assessments to track their progress. I used to be a procrastinator with all my school work before entering such a rigorous high school. After a lot of struggle, I learned methods of studying and memorizing from my own personal experiences. I teach math from students in grades 2-8.
