About Mia
As a person, I love to read books on varying topics (linguistics to fantasy). I've had to learn the in-depth parts that form the basis of language during my time in undergrad and I loved it.
I'm also still a student myself, as I'm in my graduate program learning as well as learning from the world around me. I love listening to music, watching TV and movies, attending theatrical productions, and chatting!

As a tutor, I'm very client focused. Whatever you wish to work on, we can incorporate into the activities. A typical lesson would focus on a review/teaching of rules and concepts upfront, followed by an activity to practice the skill on your own.
As someone currently in graduate school to become an SLP, I can guarantee that I've worked with a variety of populations and language needs.
