About Meron
I've loved science and learning my entire life, I used to dress up as an animal doctor for career day in kindergarten even! When I am interested in a subject I will do everything to learn as much as I can about it until there is no more knowledge out there. This part of me is how I got into scientific research in my college years. It is so exciting that I can be a part of adding to our current understandings of the universe! I feel my passion for science makes me a strong tutor as I can bring the fun I had with learning to the students I help. I also have previous experience as a camp counselor and tutor for kids 6-16.

I like to start off with getting to know my students and finding their strengths/weaknesses with learning, ie. easy to watch, but hard to listen. From there allow them to guide me on what they're learning in class and fill in the gaps of understanding they may have on the material. I am a creative at heart and love to draw models in my explanations which has helped me tackle complicated concepts in my own studies. Because of my extensive background in biology, I can cater my lessons to any age group and share my love for science with anyone.
