About Millie
Hi, my name is Millie and I am in my final year of training to be a Primary School teacher. Working with young people to achieve their best is one of my most important passions. As a little girl who struggled with her learning difficulties throughout primary and secondary, I have dedicated my time since leaving school focusing on getting the qualifications necessary to support others in a position like I was. I specialise mainly with Primary school age, however I have a brother who is in Secondary school and we regularly have tutoring sessions and homework interventions.

I will aim to make my lessons as fun and interactive as possible. I know how hard it can be to learn in an environment which you’re just not engaged in, which is why for me, I will work out the best learning style which suits your needs and adapt my lessons to suit you rather than me. I believe that if I can make the learning environment stimulating and engaging, then you will be more likely to learn and process the information we discuss. Learning shouldn’t be boring. It should be interesting and exciting.
