About Katie
Hi! My name is Katie and I am currently studying Philosophy at Lancaster University. I have a passion for learning and gaining knowledge, and this drives me to help others in doing the same. Whilst I am qualified by my top grades achieved throughout my whole academic career, the most important part of my tutoring is the fact that I have been through it all before, and in a professional but personal manner, I am able to sympathise with students struggling in their studies, who need a bit of assistance or guidance to achieve the grades that I know every single student is capable of getting.

I aim to help GCSE and A-Level students with revision tips and tricks, explaining concepts they may struggle to understand, but also with enthusiasm and a comfortable environment that they can learn and progress in. My online lessons last around an hour and address areas that an individual student may struggle in, tailoring each session to their progress and targets they wish to hit during our sessions together. With a history in teaching martial arts from a young age, I teach in my spare time to a wide variety of personality types, ages and ability levels and have experience in dealing with worries and concerns of both students and parents.
