About Joshua
I am a third year PhD student at Durham University, who has always been passionate about interdisciplinary research. I have a BA in Business Management and an MSc in Advanced Research Methods. I like to think creatively and encourage my students to broaden their academic horizons. I am always engaging with the newest research and at this current time am heavily exploring the role of neurotransmitters in decision making processes.

My lessons largely revolve around: Neuroscience tutoring (EEG analysis, Brainwaves/region functions and cognitive processes) Statistics for Psychology and Neuroscience including experimental designs. Academic skills related to literature reviews, research proposals, critical writing. I teach through structured explanations, problem solving and practical examples drawn from genuine research. Students can bring assignments, datasets or conceptual questions and I will walk them through how to think like a researcher. Lessons are suitable for undergraduates, master’s students and early stage PhD students.
