About Yuxiao
I am a current Mathematics PhD student with a B.S. in Math, Linguistics, and Computer Sciences and an M.A. in Math. I am passionate about math, logic, and language and would like to share my passion with you! I am native in Mandarin Chinese so any lesson may be offered bilingually, and you may also choose to learn Chinese from me.

I believe in practice-based learning, that knowledge is best understood with proper practice and problem-solving. In a typical lesson, I will first systematically go through the concepts based on the topics they want to learn/improve; have students try related practices on their own and finally go through their attempts and provide feedback.
My lessons could be most helpful for high school/undergraduate students interested in learning or improving math, I have years of experience grading student's math work and have taught calculus as a teaching assistant in college. So in my lessons, I will teach you reasoning and mathematical writing, aside from just solving problems.
