About Vicky
I’m currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Cardiovascular and Respiratory Science at Imperial College London. I've always enjoyed learning about how the human body functions and how diseases develop. and I aim to inspire the same passion for biology in my students by making complex concepts engaging and accessible.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science from the University of Leeds, where I gained a strong foundation across multiple branches of biology, including neuroscience, physiology, genetics, and microbiology. After graduation, I spent a year working in clinical trials, followed by two years as a medical writer. In that role, I contributed to scientific publications for pharmaceutical companies, gaining in-depth knowledge in immunology, oncology, and respiratory diseases.
Teaching biology is incredibly fulfilling for me because it connects so closely to everyday life and health. I enjoy helping students navigate challenging topics, and my experience allows me to explain even the most difficult concepts in a clear, approachable way. Having faced the same learning challenges, I understand how to support students through their studies and help them build confidence in biology.
