About Fin
My name is Fin, and I am a current A-Level Student. I am studying English Literature, English Language and Modern World History. In my GCSEs, I did not receive much support from anyone in my revision, and found myself relying on myself to create revision resources and prepare for my exams. Despite this, I managed to receive all A’s and above, achieving A*’s in English Literature and Language. I want to become a tutor to help you to improve your grades, but also to develop my own knowledge of the subject which I am studying - passing on information is one of the best ways to revise!

Whilst what you learn in English lessons in school is valuable, it is sometimes difficult to translate that information into an exam setting. Alongside building a general knowledge of the texts you study, I will also provide advice and support for exams, as well as personal feedback on submitted practice exam papers. One of the things which I found improved my essays at GCSE level was practicing essay writing, which will be a major focus from me as a tutor.
