About Jalena

I am very outgoing, caring, determined, and independent. I’m currently going into my junior year of high school and I have taken all honors and rigorous AP classes. This year I will be enrolling in college pre-calculus, college Spanish 4, and AP English language. I am also a very active member in my school community. I’m in student council, honor society, the varsity track team, fashion club, and students for a better world. I also like to help younger kids. I also even worked at a day camp and babysat. Tutoring younger kids would mean a lot to me because I would help them become more confident as scholars and passionate about their schoolwork.

About the lesson

I am patient, responsible, and understanding. I create comfortable learning environments for my students where they can grow and become the confident student they want to be! My experience working with children has taught me how to communicate effectively and make learning fun for them.
