About Emily

I am a current high school student, I love helping people learn and understand their work. I strive to support the goals of people I help no matter how small. My unweighted GPA is 4.0 (4.667 weighted). I want to expand the pool of resources for students and help relieve homework related stress through tutoring :)

About the lesson

- I aid understanding of a topic through prompting questions

- I move slow while teaching and won't move on until a student understands their material

- typical lesson will be tailored to your student's areas of struggle/needs + review of topics they're more proficient in

- Lessons are for any student who wants to be tutored for a class that is listed in my description (if you aren't sure message me the name of the class you are taking so I can confirm that I will be able to teach that before booking)

- My age makes me less intimidating

- 1 hr virtual sessions $15/hr

she has personally helped me for multiple tests and quizzes when I felt helpless, I would go in after school multiple times for help and not still not understand, but Emily has helped me understand a unit in an hour. Emily doesn’t help you get the right answer, but also helps you understand why you got that answer. Emily has been a responsible and trustworthy helper for me.
