About Amrutha
I’m a science-focused graduate student with a background in cell biology from UC Davis and several years of research and mentoring experience. I love helping students build confidence in math, physics, and biology by making challenging topics feel approachable. As a longtime dancer and teacher, I value patience, clarity, and repetition in learning. I genuinely enjoy seeing students have those “aha” moments and grow more comfortable with problem-solving over time.

I tutor math, physics, and biology with a strong emphasis on mastering the basics first and reinforcing them through repetitive practice. With a background in cell biology from UC Davis and several years of research experience, I’m comfortable breaking down complex scientific ideas into clear, manageable steps. A typical lesson starts with reviewing core concepts, followed by worked examples and plenty of practice problems to build confidence. I’ve also mentored students for years, so I adapt my teaching to each student’s pace and learning style. My lessons are ideal for middle school, high school, and introductory college-level students
