About Alice
I am currently a second year (third semester) master's candidate at UH Manoa (JABSOM). I have my BA in Neuroscience from Connecticut College, where I double minored in Computer Science and Psychology. I am currently pursuing my MS in Cell and Molecular Biology, and plan to obtain my PhD in Neuroscience upon completing my program. I am committed to inspiring students to learn and excel in their STEM classes, and to be a positive academic role model like my professors have done for me.

I have previous college TA experience, as well as experience with 6th grade through college level outside tutoring. I have been coaching sailing since 2017 and have been working with children in one-on-one settings and outdoor environments since then. Due to my experience, I will personalize my lessons to each student and come to each session prepared with updated knowledge of the topics and the best activities to gain familiarity with topics. I particularly like to emphasize hands-on-learning and creative thinking in the sciences, and can design lab scenarios to help students learn their topics.
