About Tanya
Greetings! My name is Tanya Dubey, and I am a nineteen-year-old undergraduate studying film at Kings College London. I admire language and creativity because they are two unique forms of self-expression. Additionally, I dabble in other hobbies which include playing guitar and writing stories. I shall be honest, applying to universities and learning the art of essay writing was stressful. However, I had an excellent teacher, one who made the entire process so much more enjoyable. I believe that learning is a fun and engaging process. I aim to provide a detailed understanding of the subject using popular and unpopular examples in literature. Additionally, I conduct frequent tests, often in the form of essays and creative writing, which helps the student practice regularly. I do assign homework as well, ensuring that the student is engaged but not burdened with the subject. Typically, a lesson would be an hour long. I have a year's worth of experience in teaching, a role in which I was employed as a volunteer. I am looking forward to teaching the age groups from 15-18, along with students who are looking to write essays for university applications and entrance examinations. As a current student myself, I can offer a unique insight that would help better your personal statements and essays. Thank you!
