About Jacy

I am a second year dental student keen to teach and mentor students looking to improve their academic performance - I believe everyone should have the chance to gain qualifications to pursue their dream career, regardless of their natural ability and inclination towards academics. I received tutoring during my years as a school student, which I found pivotal in achieving my high A-level results; I am excited to have the opportunity to provide future generations with the same support and guidance.

About the lesson

Lesson length = 60 minutes Lessons aimed at GCSE and A-level students of all academic abilities. I am a current BDS dental student at University and achieved AAA at A-level in Biology, Chemistry and Maths, with years of prior experience in tutoring at GCSE and A-level. Teaching of new content for students who have missed school teaching time or students wanting to get ahead in their studies, as well as last minute revision and exam prep for students needing an extra boost before Exams - supportive guidance tailored to your learning needs, whether you are a visual, auditory or written based learner; we will discover what works best for you Teaching of exam technique, including going through past papers. Revision of existing understanding, implementation of revision techniques.

Jacy has been a family friend for a long time and is absolutely amazing - she helped me to achieve 3 As in my A levels and get into my number 1 choice in Dentistry at University. She’s super good at explaining things and breaking down complex topics into digestible information and knows how to adapt her teaching style for different learning needs; for example, I am a really visual leaner and she took this into account during our tutoring sessions which made it so much more engaging and easier to learn. Would 100% recommend her!!!
