About Kaila
My name is Kaila Small, I am a science loving student who has spent her entire college career focused on learning and understanding the various types of science fields and how they all work together to create the incredible field of science as a whole. I have had a passion for learning the beauty of science since a young girl and I strive to help those who may not see it as clearly now. I want to help everyone reach their full potential in science and see just how beautiful and wondrous it truly can be for themselves!

I break down difficult topics into simpler, digestible pieces and use visual aids, hands-on activities, and analogies to ensure that students not only understand the content but also develop a genuine curiosity about the subject. I encourage questions and promote critical thinking by guiding students to explore answers on their own, fostering both independence and confidence in their scientific reasoning.
In addition, I recognize that each child learns differently. Therefore, I tailor my teaching strategies to suit their unique strengths, whether through interactive discussions, visual resources, or practical examples. My goal is not just to help students memorize facts, but to cultivate a deeper understanding of biology and an enthusiasm for learning that lasts beyond our tutoring sessions.
