I am a current undergraduate student at McGill University, majoring in honors biochemistry, and minoring in biotechnology. I have expertise in a variety of science subjects, such as general chemistry and biology up to the first year university level, as well as a strong understanding for a variety of niche scientific topics. My tutoring ideology is to use a hands on approach with my students. I engage students in problem-solving and the "teach the tutor" method to fully maximize and reinforce the knowledge students possess, as well as pinpoint gaps in their knowledge. My younger age makes it much easier for me to build a personal and deep connection with my students, and I strive to make the learning environment one of positivity and near "peer" tutoring. My lessons are primarily for students in the 10-12th grade range seeking help in general biology as well as other more niche topics such as genetics and molecular biology.
