About Maria
My name is Maria, I am currently a 2nd year medical student who is passionate about education as well. I graduated in 2019 with a major in Biology and a double minor in Chemistry and Psychology. I also have a Master's in Medical Sciences. I have been tutoring since the beginning of college, and have also specialized in working with children with special needs. My specialization is working with children on the Autism Spectrum.

I first like to start by asking my student what is their biggest challenge and what they expect to gain from our session. We list the issues in order of importance and work down from there.
I always emphasize the importance of understanding the topic in a simple way that the other student will understand with ease.
I work with all levels of education (grade school to college) and also with children with learning disabilities as well. I have been a Special Needs tutor for over 10 years.
