As a tutor, I have been teaching and instructing 4- 45 years old students in Chinese, English, and Art for 10 years. The journey started when I was in High school. Over the years, I have been a student of a new language and practiced teaching language as a tutor parallelly.
My teaching philosophy is Dialogue.
I encourage students to firstly be comfortable with the language as a tool to unlock other fascinating subjects. From listening to Speaking, I tend to form the course with the students together, to let them participate in the study curriculum with me. Surely, I will outline the basic structure base on each student's background.
Reading and Writing will be included, whether academic reading or daily news feed, formal writing material is essential for all levels of students to be familiar with.
Writing will be introduced as creative writing and reading reviews. The practice of writing trains the logic of the language.
The length of each lesson will be1 - 1.5 hour.
