About Thato
I am a passionate and conscious educator holding a Business Management degree passed Cum Laude, supported by high school awards for scoring 80%+ in Maths and 70%+ in Business Studies. My leadership experience as an elected high school RCL officer and Interact member naturally complements my background in running a successful neighbourhood home-tutoring programme for Grade 7 to 9 learners. I deeply love working with children and understand that every learner is completely unique. By combining elite academic discipline with a gentle, patient, and highly nurturing approach, I ensure complex concepts become easy and impactful for all my students.

My lessons are aimed at school students who want to build true confidence in Mathematics and Physics. Teaching comfortably in English, I combine high-level analytical skills from my Cum Laude degree with a gentle, nurturing methodology. A typical lesson with me involves reviewing core concepts, breaking down difficult topics, and practising past exam questions together in a safe space. I understand that all learners are different, so I provide a conscious, patient environment where students can master complex science formulae at their own pace. As well as I am very versatile in teaching in fluent English, and in Zulu, Sesotho, Sepedi to help the learner better understand in a way English may limit.

Because I do not use an inverter backup, lessons impacted by local grid disruptions or load reduction are never billed, and any missed time will be fully refunded or rescheduled at your convenience. I also offer a 10% discount on 5 or 10-hour lesson packages.
