About Alina

Hi everyone! I’m Alina (or Anqi, my original name), a native Chinese speaker from Beijing, China. I’m a CTCSOL certified Chinese teacher with tutoring experience. I got a bachelor’s degree in journalism and studied abroad for many years. I’m truly passionate about sharing the beauty of the Chinese language and culture with people from all over the world. And I really enjoy learning about different cultures and chatting with people from different countries. I’d be thrilled to not only be your teacher but also your friend as we embark on this language journey together! 大家好呀！我是Alina。你们也可以叫我的原中文名安琪。我来自中国北京，中文是我的母语。我是一名持有CTCSOL国际中文教师证书的老师，也有一定的辅导经验。我在海外留学过多年，持有新闻学的本科学位。我很爱中国文化，也很期待能把中国文化的魅力分享给来自世界各地的朋友们。此外，我也超爱了解不同国家的文化，很喜欢和来自五湖四海的人聊天交流。所以，我希望不仅是做你的老师，更可以成为你的朋友，陪你一起学中文、聊文化！

About the lesson

My class mainly focuses on spoken Chinese. My goal is to make learning Chinese fun, engaging, and meaningful. I'll try to incorporate your interests and interactive resources into the lessons you learn. We’ll not only focus on language skills but also explore interesting cultural topics—from traditional festivals and delicious food to modern Chinese trends. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to improve your current level, I’ll tailor the lessons and learning plans to fit your needs. If you want to study the HSK or any other materials, I can also help you out! Plus, having studied abroad myself, I truly understand the challenges of learning a new language. So don’t worry—if you’re not yet comfortable speaking Chinese, we can communicate in English sometimes along the way :) Look forward to meeting you in class and help you fall in love with Chinese!
