About Billie
I am an undergraduate student with College Reading and Learning Association Master Tutor certification. I have an Associate of Arts in General Studies and an Associate of Arts in Teaching, with extra coursework in Child and Family Development. I've been officially tutoring for three years, and before that I did volunteer work for homeschool families. Privately, I've tutored several students from grades 2-8 and a few adults, as well; as a tutor employed by my university, I tutored up to 150 students per semester and received 98% positive feedback from my tutees. I do tutor ELL/ESL students.

My techniques as a tutor involve sitting down with the student, getting to know them and what their individual learning style is. I take a look at the student's current progress, have a two-way discussion with them about both their strengths and weaknesses, and then help them improve.
