About Erin
I am a registered nurse working in intensive care within a major tertiary referral centre in inner Sydney. I have experience with critical care, anaesthetic and post-anaesthetic recovery (PACU) and general practice outpatient nursing and I love learning and teaching others about the pathophysiological basis behind nursing interventions. I have a background in science with a BSc (majoring in Anatomy and Histology) and Masters of Nursing, both through the University of Sydney.

I believe it's really important as a nurse to know why you are doing something for a patient, rather than just doing it because it is 'policy' or because someone tells you to. If you want to understand why we do things a certain way and the physiological basis behind nursing interventions, then I might be the tutor for you.
