About Angele
Hello! My name is Angele, and I am a credentialed elementary school teacher with a strong background in literacy instruction and supporting young learners. I currently teach in a public elementary school and specialize in helping students strengthen their reading, phonics, and spelling skills.
I earned my Associate’s Degree in Elementary Teaching from Chabot College and my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Teacher Education from California State University, East Bay. I also completed my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential at Cal State East Bay. In April, I will be completing my Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Grand Canyon University.
As a classroom teacher, I work with students at a wide range of learning levels. I have experience supporting struggling readers, students who need extra phonics and spelling practice, and students who want to build stronger reading comprehension skills. My tutoring sessions are structured, engaging, and tailored to each child’s needs so they can build both skills and confidence as readers.
I also have specialized training in restorative practices, which helps me create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable taking risks and growing academically.
My goal is to help students develop strong literacy foundations while making learning positive, motivating, and confidence-building.

Hi! I’m Angele, a credentialed elementary school teacher with several years of classroom experience supporting young readers. I specialize in helping students build strong foundations in reading, phonics, spelling, and fluency.
I currently teach in a public elementary school and work with students at a wide range of reading levels. My goal is to help children feel confident and successful as they develop the skills they need to become independent readers.
During tutoring sessions, I focus on:
• phonics and decoding strategies
• reading fluency and comprehension
• spelling patterns and word study
• building confidence and a love of reading
I use engaging activities, games, and structured practice so students stay motivated while strengthening their skills.
I work with students in kindergarten through 5th grade, including:

Sessions are supportive, encouraging, and tailored to each child’s needs. I also communicate with parents so you know exactly what skills we are working on and how your child is progressing.
