About Enrique
I hold a Master of Arts (MA) in Catholic Studies and a Master of Education (MEd) degree toward
licensure in high school teaching with single subject credentials in English and Social Studies.
Both my graduate degrees were done online and involved writing an eight to sixteen page paper
per subject per week, which earned me cumulative GPAs of 4.0, MA Graduate Honors and Summa cum Laude honors in my MEd program. I've taught as a full time English teacher in Californiafor two years, was tutoring students from grades K-12 for more than four years, and was a certified Substitute teacher for one year
until I earned my teacher credentials.

My teaching methodology is to build on what's taught in the classroom with the objective of getting the highest grades possible for the student . This means analyzing why the student's grades are as they are and then developing remedial differentiated methods and material to make sure the student succeeds in the regular classroom. In this sense, the tutoring program is a handmaid of the classroom teaching program and must , therefore, support, complement and boost the regular teacher's efforts and programs.

My rates will vary according to the student's grade level , distance of tutoring site from tutor's home , and if the session is done online with webcam.
There will be no charge for cancellation as long as it's done at least 24 hours before scheduled session.
