About Peter
Hello, I'm Peter. I am a writer, tutor and former bookshop manager.
I have been obsessed with books and writing since I was young, and in 2019 discovered my passion for teaching. After graduating with a degree in English Literature and Spanish from the University of Edinburgh, I qualified as a Cambridge-approved teacher of English as a foreign language, tutoring students in Argentina. Back in the UK, I received a Masters in Creative Writing from the University of Birmingham where I was tutored by award-winning poets and novelists. I have had my own writing published in MONO Fiction and The Cardiff Review and am currently working on my first novel.

English can be a daunting subject...
So we learn with a smile in my lessons. We can work for as long or as little as it takes, whether you need to shape up your Shakespeare knowledge, or essays have got you in a tangle.
I have a degree in English Literature and a Masters in Creative Writing, as well as four years' tutoring experience under my belt to help share my passion for English and have you nailing that exam or assignment!

Whether you need just a little advice on plot or character, or a full makeover of your story/poem, I'm here to help :) I have had work published in MONO Fiction and The Cardiff Review, and can't wait to share what I've learnt so far on my writing journey.
