About Yasmin
I am a Masters student about to graduate with a Creative Writing and Publishing postgraduate degree in Bournemouth. I also studied Creative Writing and Publishing for my undergraduate degree in Bath, graduating with a 2:1. I was previously an Editorial Assistant for a publishing house in London, as well as a freelance writer and editor for many international clients. My specialties include story writing, academic and professional writing, proofreading and editing the grammar and flow of work, and other general writing such as blog articles and essays.

Being a writer is about exploring what is on your mind. My method of teaching would begin with a short exercise of free writing, to clear your mindset and focus on what it is you want to achieve. This is a technique I have learnt in university, and found it very efficient when writing myself. I would also share other techniques I have learnt during my courses, including exercises, daily routines, and writing advice. Not only do my lessons offer a chance to improve your writing, but also how you can start thinking as a writer, and the different ways you edit your work to make it the best it can be! I believe everybody has a story to tell, and everybody should be offered the creative space to share it!
