About Anuvab
Hi, I'm Anuvab, a professional writer and editor based in India. I hold an English Honors degree and have spent years writing and editing for organizations and brands. I also hold an EF SET English Certificate at C2 (Proficient) level.
I love stories and the way a good idea can grow into something real, and I enjoy helping young writers discover that. I'm patient, encouraging and clear, and I never rush a child or make them feel their ideas aren't good enough.
Outside of work, I enjoy books, music and learning about different cultures. If you're looking for a friendly, reliable tutor who makes writing fun, I'd be happy to help your child gain confidence and finish a story they're proud of.

My approach is simple: kids write best when they're having fun. Every lesson starts with a quick warm-up game to get ideas flowing, then we build a story step by step. Together we invent characters, settings, problems and twists. After that, each child writes while I give friendly, specific feedback, and we finish by reading a piece aloud, which is always optional.
A typical session lasts 45 minutes: a short warm-up, a mini-lesson on one storytelling skill (such as strong openings, vivid description or dialogue), focused writing time, then sharing and feedback. Over a few weeks, each learner finishes a story they're proud of.
What makes my lessons different is my professional background. I'm a writer and editor with an English Honours degree and over six years of experience, so I explain things clearly and show kids how real writers shape their work. I speak at a comfortable pace and keep the atmosphere encouraging, so no idea feels silly.
These lessons are intended for children aged 8 to 12 who enjoy stories and want to improve their writing, vocabulary and confidence. No prior experience is needed.
