About Lucy
I'm Lucy, a professional English (as a foreign language) teacher and lover of all things stories, books and films! I adore the English language and helping people to understand it. Teaching is one of my biggest passions and I love helping people to learn how to communicate in a different language or tell the stories they want. I have been teaching for over three years in English and Creative Writing and have helped many people to pass their Cambridge English exams or improve their confidence in their day-to-day general English or in their own storytelling (depending on whether the student is just learning English, Creative Writing or both).

I'm a qualified and experienced English teacher with experience of General English classes and exams to both adults and children. I usually hold lessons for 60 minutes and use fun, creative and very communicative methodologies to suit all my individual students' needs. Most of all, I want the student to have fun learning English and get whatever it is they wish to achieve and always take the time to get to know them and personalise lessons to suit them and what they need. I am CELTA qualified and have taught in ESL schools for over three years. In addition to this, I have a background in Creative Writing (BA and MA) and love books, film and storytelling and am more than happy to tutor in English and Creative Writing to help people tell stories and improve their English at the same time.
