About Taylor
After earning a degree in Creative Writing, I have had the opportunity to write for a variety of organizations and individuals. Over the last 10 years, I have found my voice and style, and I’ve discovered that I love helping people communicate the heart of their mission and story. I don’t write to tell people what to think; I want to teach people how to think differently. I write to inspire and bring wonder where it’s easy to get stuck in old or familiar patterns.

I am your writing and grammar coach! I care about each student's goals and tailor our lessons to fit your personality and needs My lessons are conversational and encouraging. I believe that how we communicate is equally as important as what we communicate, and my desire is to empower you to confidently write impactful, creative, and clear work.
I help you clarify and organize your thoughts. I ask a lot of questions to stir your own creative genius and help you think outside the box.
I focus on communication more than perfection.
A simple 1-hour lesson structure:
5–10 min: Discuss goals or struggles
15–20 min: Review writing together
15–20 min: Practice improving specific areas
10 min: Feedback + next steps
My tutoring is ideal for students who may feel overwhelmed with writing and need help with essays or creative projects, or simply want a supportive environment to improve.
