About Matthew

Hi, I'm Matthew. With me guiding you, we can totally explore your creative writing goal. Break it down into chunks and write it out one page at a time! I will encourage, be honest, and show you how you can finally write that story in a way to break through writers' block and show off to your friends.

About the lesson

Ask what kind of story you want to write?
How many words?
A standalone or a series?
Fast paced or slow burning?
Then, what inspires you to write it?

I'd start with those details in initial one or two sessions. Then, we get down and dirty with prewriting, a brief outline, and an overall big picture of the project. If you think that writing that big epic story that you have imagined for five years has always been impossible, then I will help you make it possible.

Lessons are for high school, college-age, and adults up to 40. Ideally one with a HS diploma, college degree, or chasing a degree, and interested in science fiction, fantasy, or general fiction.
